RENTAL TERMS
*DRIVING LICENSE AND AGE TERMS
- A valid national or international driving license is required,
- For all car groups; the driving license should be held at least 2 years, and minimum
21 years of age
- For all Jeep groups ; the driving license should be held at least 3 years and minimum
23 years of age
*RESERVATIONS
- The Vehicle which wanted to be rented can be reserved over our internet site by filling
a reservation form or you can contact us by telephone any time you want.
- The extra requests like “baby seat, snow chain, navigation device, area map...etc.” can be requested while
you are reserving your vehicle or you can keep us informed 2 days before your arrival
in Turkey.
- You can change the delivery time or date by keeping us informed.
- Cancellations should be done minumum 3 days before the delivery time.
*RENTAL PERIOD TERMS
- The minumum car rental charge is 1 day and it is 1 to 24 hours.
- Long term rental period should be at least 1 month to get reduced price.
- The rental period extentions can be made by keeping us informed.
- The late return is charged 50% of the daily rate for the first 3 hours, more than 3
hours is charged as 1 extra daily rate.
* DELIVERY AND PICKING THE VEHICLE
- Meteor Rent A Car & Jeep’s head office is located in Antalya city center
- All deliveries in Antalya city, to Antalya Airport (AYT), to Antalya bus terminal and to the hotels in Antalya city center are free of charge
- Meteor Rent A Car & Jeep has co-op rental companies in many cities
- ISTANBUL - TRABZON (BLACK SEA)
- IZMIR - KAYSERI
- ANKARA - FETHIYE
- ADANA - MARMARIS
- CAPPADOCCIA
in all those city centers you can reserve your car without delivery charge.
- Pls contact us for transfer fee to the other cities to which you wish your car to be delivered
*INSURANCE
- All of our vehicles are covered with the type of Rent A car Insurance
- The tires are off the insurance, unrepairable flat and damaged tire is payed by you
- The mechanicals problems which happened because of harmful use are off the insurance
- The mechanical problems which happened and not caused because of driver are all our
responsibility and will be taken care by Meteor Rent A Car Company.
- If the instructions which are appears below are not done by the Client, we will not be able to use the insurance for the damage payments and the all expenses should be paid by you
*THE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT PROCEDURE
- Do not move the vehicle and keep the position of the car till the police arrives and checks the accident area.
- If necessary AMBULANCE emergency telephone number is 112 and can be called also by your foreign mobile operator.
- Meteor Rent A Car should be informed to get HELP.
- For calling the Police to the accident area just dial 154, 155 or 156 (Gendarmarin).
- Do not leave the accident area till the police arrives there.
- The Police or Gendarmarin write the Accident report and makes the alcohol test and writes the alcohol test report, Those 2 reports (Accident Report and Alcohol Test Report) should be taken from the police and delivered to Meteor Rent A Car.
*TRAFFIC FINES
- Any traffic fine ticket which is written to the vehicle during the client’s rental period should be paid by the client, the fine ticket and the payment receipt should be given us.
- You can pay the traffic fine ticket to Meteor rent A car as well.
- There is 25% reducement if the traffic fine is payed in the following 15 days.
*CROSSING BORDERS
- It is not allowed to take the rental car off turkish borders.
